The Design Drafter works closely with the Product Design Engineering team to create and/or modify 3D models and 2D drawings utilized for the manufacturing and assembly of electrical connectors and components. The Design Drafter III will also develop and modify bills of materials (BOM’s) for designs and generate engineering release and change orders in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Design Drafter III has sufficient connector expertise and technical acumen to complete a majority of the CAD designs assigned with minimal guidance and supervision.
